Enjoy an indoor tasting or an outdoor tasting on the verandah or by the vines at Blueberry Hill. Our recent visit to this lovely part of the vineyards saw us seated outside beside the Pinot Noir vines on a warm sunny day, where we were guided through the quite substantial range of Blueberry Hill’s estate wines.
Our pick of the day was the Rose, made from Pinot and Merlot grapes, it’s a delicate pale pink Rose with an enticing bouquet of rose petals, Turkish Delight and strawberries. These characteristics carry from the nose to the palate making the wine easy, lazy afternoon drinking, refreshing and a lovely accompaniment to fruits and seafood dishes. It’s best enjoyed in its youth, which is a good thing as it didn’t last long around the table!
Next time you’re visiting the valley, be sure to pop this lovely spot onto your to do list. You’ll be treated to a relaxed tasting experience and come away with some lovely wines to take away with you.
